I think that parents should definitely attend preschool open houses when choosing a preschool for your children. It's extremely important to visit a preschool to get an idea of the kind of environment there, whether the teachers are kind and nurturing, and to observe whether the space is conducive for your child. When I was choosing a preschool for my children, I attended many preschool open houses because I wanted to ensure that my kids would have a nurturing and enriching learning environment when I am not with her.
